Survivor Stories Publication Terms

By submitting your work to RecoverEase, you agree to the following:

Your work remains yours. You retain ownership of your submission. By submitting it, you grant RecoverEase a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, display, promote, and advertise your submission, in whole or in part, through RecoverEase channels. This includes our website, email, social media, paid advertising, and other marketing and editorial materials.

You have the right to submit it. You confirm that the submission is your own work and that you have the rights necessary to grant RecoverEase these permissions. If it has been published elsewhere, you are responsible for making sure any prior publication terms allow you to submit it to us.

We may edit selected submissions. RecoverEase may make routine edits for grammar, length, readability, formatting, and consistency without additional approval. If we propose edits that materially change the substance or meaning of your submission, we will contact you before publication.

Submission does not guarantee publication. RecoverEase may choose whether or not to publish or use any submission.

There is no compensation for publication or use. Survivor Stories is a voluntary community storytelling project. You will not receive payment, royalties, or other compensation for RecoverEase's use of your submission.

You may request removal. You may contact RecoverEase at any time to ask that we stop using your submission. We will stop future use and remove it from RecoverEase-controlled digital channels within a reasonable period. We may not be able to recall or remove material that has already been distributed, published in materials that are no longer under our control, shared by third parties, or incorporated into materials already in circulation.
